Brazilian Association of Aesthetics
The Brazilian Association of Aesthetics (ABRE) was founded in 1989, and is located in Minas Gerais since 2006. It aims to foster and develop interest in academic research in aesthetics and philosophy of art, promoting forums for discussions in which philosophers and artists can establish dialogues and exchange experiences. ABRE is the Brazilian leading association in the field and organizes Brazil's largest event in aesthetics, the Brazilian International Congress on Aesthetics.
